Ever wonder how big a coues buck really is? This buck hung in a tree overnight and in the morning it was stiff enough to stand. Mike is bent at the knees so the height is exaggerated. This buck stands 28" at the shoulder and is 14" deep through the chest.
(right)We have the bucks loaded in our packs for the trip out. This grass flat is the only level place on the mountain.
